This week on FOX 8 News in the Morning, we are looking at online predator dangers — from smart phones and tablets to apps and much more.
On Wednesday, we learned about the dangers of different apps. Which ones are the worst?
And how are your children hiding them?
Our Kristi Capel took an in-depth look at the issue and spoke with expert Jesse Weinberger.
YouNow, a social network for live streaming and video chatting, has issued the following statement on their website regarding safety procedures:
“The Trust & Safety team uses a combination of automated systems and manual monitoring to ensure that all members of the YouNow community are kept safe. Guided by our Community Standards & Site Rules and Terms of Service, we continuously monitor YouNow broadcasts to warn, suspend, or ban any users who violate our policies.”
