A YOUNG woman who was groomed online by a paedophile, who would later rape and torture her when she was only 13-years-old, has finally found happiness after years of coming to terms with her past.

Alicia Kozakiewicz, now 27, has previously spoken out about the abuse she suffered at the hands of evil Scott Tyree.

The predator groomed vulnerable Alicia by pretending to be a teenage boy online, before abducting her when she agreed to meet him.

Monstrous Tyree then kept the 13-year-old as prisoner in his Virginia home – five hours away from her hometown Pittsburgh.

Horrifically, Tyree had Alicia locked-up in a cage, where she was kept naked with a dog collar around her neck.

She would be chained to the floor in his bedroom, where the monster would rape and beat her.

Her horrific ordeal has haunted Alicia for years and she has had to learn to separate her past from her new relationships.

She said: “Rape is all about power and control. Love never is. What happened to me is nothing to do with a relationship that I could have with somebody else.”

Now Brave Alicia has finally found happiness – and is now looking forward to marrying a man she calls her best friend.

She told BBC Radio 4: “In July a day after graduating, I’m getting married. I’m so lucky to have found somebody that really supports my mission.

“For years I struggled with personal relationships. The most loving gentle touches could suddenly seem evil and full of harm.”

Alicia had gone to meet Tyree on New Year’s Day 2002; he kidnapped her and kept her hostage for four days, broadcasting the vile beatings online.

However, a user who feared he could be implicated spotted that Alicia was the same girl as featured in missing posters and called the police.
